- You will NOT be a black belt in 1 week, month or year… patience, grasshopper.
- It is NOT easy, but with time, practice, and perseverance you WILL succeed.
Where Do I Go from Here?
Ok, you’re feeling adventurous and ready to start learning Tae Kwon Do… what’s next?!
Find a local dojo in your area and drop in to talk to the instructor. Most schools offer a few trial classes or memberships for free so that you can test the class out and see if you really are interested in it.
Fully commit yourself to these lessons and throw caution to the wind. You will be uncoordinated and feel like a fish out of water — THIS IS OK! We all started here.
You will only get a true sense of how you will like this if you jump in with both feet, no just putting your toes in!
After that, sit down with the instructor(s) and discuss how your experiences were and if they think this would be a good fit for you.
